What do you get when you take three pots and metaphorically smash them together? If you do it right, you get a triple planter that is perfect for housing a small, tiered ecosystem.
This planter was created from three wheel-thrown pots that were attached with a bit of hand building and a dose of cursing. Drainage holes were cut in the walls connecting the pots and the center to allow for drainage. The pot was part of a gas soda residual firing after dripping glaze on the exterior.
